We hired Leenheer Renovations to complete our basement development in the spring of 2017. We were very pleased with the quality of the work completed by Duane and his crew. Duane drafted up plans for us incorporating our ideas and making excellent suggestions along the way. He provided a detailed quote, which ended up being fairly accurate to the eventual cost of the renovation. Leenheer Renovations did some major renovations for us in our basement in the Fall of 2015. The original agreement was to provide floor covering for the main room and four bedrooms, refresh a wall, hiding cables that had been installed for TV and internet, and install a cabinet with sink and plumbing. We also asked them to install a drop ceiling with new LED light fixtures in the main area, (rumpus room) , and to renew a drop ceiling as well as install a new light fixture in one of the bedrooms, functioning as a study. The work was done very efficiently and any problems were discussed thoroughly. The wall that was refreshed, required removal of the panelling, in order to install the plumbing for the cabinet. In the process, inefficiencies in the wiring were resolved, and the internet cable installed in a convenient manner. Duane and his co-workers provided very helpful advice through the whole process. The workers were very helpful in explaining what they were doing, and very pleasant company to have in our home. We felt that they had become friends in the time that they were working The floor was subcontracted to a firm which also provided very good service. When everything was finished, it was everything that we had hoped for, and the cost was reasonably close to the estimate that we were given at the start of the project.
